Bleak Dawn

Bleak Dawn - Landscape Photography
Early spring pre-sunrise colours the sky above a bleak and cold Adam's Cross on Saddleworth Moor.

Legend suggests that a lost stone circle may be situated in this area. The name Adam's Cross may also lend a clue. To the people who gave this area it's name, it could possibly translate as the worship place of the first man.
