Crook Hill View

Crook Hill View - Mono Landscapes
Crook Hill is a twin peaked hill, on the western side of Ladybower Reservoir. The smaller peak is sometimes known as Ladycrook Hill. On it's eastern side sits the remains of a Bronze Age cairn circle. This is the view looking west from the smaller but wilder peak, over the western arm of Ladybower to Kinder Scout.

The twin summits of Crook Hill, above Ladybower reservoir. It is easy to see why the Bronze Age people of the Peaks thought this hill to be a fitting place to bury their dead.
